Our Staff
Dianne Ibarra - Executive Director
Dianne is a long-time Kodiak resident who has worked in the healthcare field in Kodiak for the last 10+ years. Stepping into the role of Executive Director is proving to be a natural next step in her career as she strengthens her understanding of the Kodiak community’s needs, and maintains a desire to ensure care is being provided to those who need it most. When she is not working, Dianne enjoys the nature of Kodiak, spending time with her three children and loved ones, and one day hopes to broaden her travels across the world.

jordana ashman - Program Manager
A California girl who found her way to Kodiak as quickly as she could, Jordana Ashman earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Wheaton College, Illinois, followed by a M.A. in English from the University of California, Davis, and an M.Ed. from the University of Idaho. She taught English for a long time, including seven years as English Department Chair at Kodiak College. She has served on several boards and search committees for major hiring positions in Kodiak. Her background in literature, education, and psychology with a concentration in trauma gave her a foundation and love for connecting with people and their stories on a deep individual level. To prepare herself to shift into work with hospice and palliative care, Jordana pursued continuing education through Trinity Anglican Seminary. She is honored to partner with the ongoing work of Hospice and Palliative Care of Kodiak to extend its mission in the Kodiak community. Jordana is the happy mother of four uniquely wonderful children, and takes great delight in spending her free time with them reading, playing games, enjoying Kodiak beaches and hikes, creating improv songs and stories, and wrangling their small zoo of guinea pigs and their miniature poodle, Xerxes.
