Education, Support & Resources for those caring for or EXPERIENCING Dementia

Hospice and Palliative Care of Kodiak (HPCK) is focused on helping community members experiencing dementia. Because of our location and limited resources, HPCK created the “Dignity for Kodiak Project” in partnership with the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority in 2023.

Through a three-pronged approach, Dignity for Kodiak addresses the needs of our clients and community members experiencing dementia through 1) ongoing training opportunities for volunteers and community members, 2) resources and tools for clients and families, and 3) support and compassion for caregivers.

Join our efforts! Together, we can help our neighbors and loved ones live a dignified life on Kodiak Island.
